The entity types setting allows you to set custom types or change the existing default types for tasks, customers, contacts, sales, production and purchase orders.
For example, the default types for Production Orders are bulk and sample. But you can change them and even add another type.
How to Add or Change Existing Types
To add or change existing types, open the Entity Types setting, pick a module, and make the necessary adjustment.
Adding and Managing Codes
Like every other thing in life, there's usually a reason(s) behind every action you take in Uphance. When a customer cancels or returns an order, there's a reason for it. You perform a stock transfer/adjustment, there's certainly a reason for it, and so forth.
Wouldn't it make sense if you had a way to document all these reasons for future tracking and accounting purposes? Thankfully, there is, and this is where the entity codes feature comes in handy.
This feature allows you to create reasons and sub-reasons while assigning them codes. The codes can be anything you want—you just need to get creative.

Do bear in mind that the process is similar for others.
With the codes all set up, you can assign them to a cancellation like so:
Note: Reason codes for stock transfers are only accessible when you edit them:
