Integrating Zonos with Uphance enables you to streamline managing tariffs, calculating duties and taxes, and ensuring compliance for your business.

This guide will not only walk you through the integration process, but also use it correctly for your business operations.

Step 1: Add the App

The first step is to add the Zonos app. You can do this by navigating to App >> All Apps >> Zonos.

Step 2: Configure The App

After adding the app, the next step is to configure the app so that it syncs data seamlessly. To do so, log in to your Zonos dashboard, open the Integrations page and click the Create GraghQL API key button. This will generate a token key for you.

Copy the generated token key and paste it into the credential token field in Uphance and save.

Step 3: Set Up Shipping Rate Configuration

After successfully integrating the app, the next thing you will want to do is to configure your shipping rates. This can be done by navigating to Settings >> Shipping >> Shipping Rates Config. Once there, select a sales channel, country (the country where the orders will be shipped to) and source (Zonos). Then save.

Bear in mind that you can add as many shipping configurations as you want, provided each one you add has a different channel and country.

Step 4: Fetch Shipping Cost and Tax Rate

The last step is basically where you put the Zonos integration to use by fetching the shipping cost and tax rate for an order. To do so, create a new draft sales (or edit an existing one).

Ensure the carrier and carrier service on the order match the rate you have on Zonos.

Also, ensure that the order is coming from the sales channel that you've set in the shipping configuration.

Finally, click the fetch tax rate button. This will fetch both the shipping tax and shipping cost for the order.

Note: The fetch shipping cost and tax rate button both serve the same purpose. In other words, you can click either one of them to fetch your shipping data.
