When you ship products to your Consignment customers, they may want to return the products that do not sell.  In another instance, you might want to create a return after the product holding period has elapsed.

Issuing a Consignment Return will adjust the inventories for both you and your Consignment customer. This means when a consignment return is created, it will be deducted from your customer's inventory and added to yours.

Consignment Returns work very similar to standard Sales Order Returns.  Please see the standard Returns Knowledge Article for details on creating, editing and checking in Returns.

  • Add the stock to the warehouse from which the consignment order was originally picked.

After completing the return, you can check for inventory level changes in your change log. You can access this by navigating to Inventory Management >> Product Inventory>> Actions >> View Change log.
