Fulfilling bulk orders works differently from retail order fulfillment and offers many benefits. With Uphance, you can seamlessly fulfill bulk orders automatically, or in just a few clicks.

For instance, you can create pick tickets for an unlimited amount of orders. You can also partially fulfill bulk orders where your available stock is insufficient. While bulk order fulfillment on Uphance can be automatic and seamless, much of this depends on your configurations in your inventory settings.

Orders can be fulfilled in bulk either automatically or manually. Let's show you how to perform both.

To fulfill orders in bulk, navigate to Order Management >> Fulfillment. Use the filters (manufacturers, warehouse, season, etc) to narrow down your order selection. After that, hit the Apply button to complete the filtering.

Next, click the Actions button and select the auto fulfill option you prefer, and there are two of them: Auto Fulfill Ready and Auto Fulfill All.

The former creates pick tickets for styles where stock is available to fulfill all orders. The latter, on the other hand, creates pick tickets for all styles based on the priority allocated by the system.

Once you've selected the auto-fulfill method you prefer, enter a ship date and save. Give the system a little while to fulfill the selected orders.

Note that even when you opt to use manual fulfillment, you may still use the Auto Fulfill Ready button to automatically fulfill orders that you have stock for. Manual fulfillment is essential in situations where available stock is insufficient perhaps because a manufacturer was unable to complete production.

To manually fulfill orders in bulk, filter the orders following the same steps illustrated for automatic fulfillment. Locate the order you wish to fulfill and click the Plan button next to it.
