Managing product development just got a whole lot easier, as you can set a duration for the development stages and Uphance will automatically populate the due dates for each stage.

For example, if you set the duration period for the Sampling Stage as 10 days and it starts on the 10th of August, Uphance will automatically set the due date as August 20th. The same applies to other development stages.

To set a duration period for a stage, log in to your account and navigate to Settings >> PLM

With the PLM page opened, locate the Product Stages section. The next step is to set a duration for each of the stages.

To do so, click the pencil for each stage, then enter a numeric value in the Duration field and save.

After setting the duration period for all the stages, the next thing you will want to do is to set a start date for a product's development.

To do so, open the target product by navigating to Product Information >> Products. Select a product, click the Design tab, then enter the Start date. Uphance will automatically populate the rest using the duration information you earlier provided.
