Uphance Payments, a built-in payment solution powered by Stripe, allows you to accept and process payments from your customers all over the world without needing to use a third-party solution.
Best of all, it is very easy to use and can be set up and configured in minutes. We will show you how to go about it in this guide.
Steps to Setting Up Uphance Payments
Step 1: Add the Uphance Payment App
This can be done by navigating to Apps >> All Apps >> Uphance Payments
Step 2: Configure the app
Once you've added the app, the next step is to configure it. The first thing you will have to do is select who will pay for the payment processing fee: you or your customers. After that, agree to Uphance's Payment Agreement and hit the Setup Uphance Payments button.
Step 3: Complete the configuration by providing all required information
Provide all required information to complete the setup. This includes the country where your business is located, contact details, owner's information, and bank details.
Ensure all the information you entered is correct.
Note: Uphance Payments is only available in a few select countries. So if you don't see yours, it means it isn't available there at the moment.
After you've provided all the required information, submit your application and wait for approval. Once approved, enable Uphance payments as illustrated below to make it start working.
With Uphance Payments all set up, your customers can easily make payments by clicking the Pay Online link contained in the invoices you send to them.
Managing Card Processing Fees
Whenever you receive payments from customers, a processing fee will be charged on that transaction. The fee is 3% +$0.3, which is charged by Stripe, our payment processing partner.
