Integrating Retail Express with Uphance allows you to further streamline your retail and wholesale operations.

The integration process is demonstrated below:

Step 1: Add The App

To add the Retail Express, open all apps and click the Add button.

Step 2: Connect Your Retail Express Account

With the app now added, the next thing you will want to do is connect it to your Retail Express account.

To do so, log into your Retail Express account and generate an API key. Next, copy the generated API key as well as your retail express subdomain, paste them into the appropriate fields and click the Save button.

If the connection was successful, you should see something like this:

Step 3: Map Your Warehouse

The next step now is to map your warehouses. By mapping, we mean matching the warehouse in Retail Express to the ones you have in Uphance. After that, set the interval period (in minutes) to automatically pull orders from Retail Express into Uphance.

Finally, click the Test Connection button to be sure everything is working as expected. Be sure to save the configuration afterwards.

If you would rather pull in the orders manually, click the Pull Orders From Retail Express Now button at the bottom whenever you want.

Sending Pick Tickets to Retail Express

To push a pick ticket to Retail Express, open it and click the Send to RE button. If successful, you will see a notification at the top bar alerting you that the system has commenced sending the pick ticket to Retail Express, and the send to RE button will disappear. Also, you will see the RE reference.

However, if unsuccessful, you will see the failed notification in the API log section.

To access the pick ticket in RE, simply open the PO Manager page and open the last one.

Note: It's important to ensure that the products in the pick ticket have an EAN/UPC number as well as an assigned warehouse for seamless syncing to Retail Express.

Viewing API Activity Log

You can view all Retail Express API and JSON logs from the activity section in Uphance. This is also where you get to see pick tickets that failed to push to Retail Express.
